How to make fluffy pancake

 

Here is a basic recipe for making fluffy pancakes:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract (if using).
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined (small lumps are okay).
  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Scoop 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake.
  5. Cook the pancake until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip the pancake and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on the other side.
  6. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Tips:

  • Don't overmix the batter, as this will result in tough pancakes.
  • For added flavor, try adding a handful of fresh berries or a spoonful of peanut butter to the batter.
  • If the pancakes are browning too quickly, adjust the heat down. If they are not cooking fast enough, adjust the heat up.
