How To cook fried rice


How To cook fried rice, you will need the following ingredients:

  • Rice (pre-cooked and cooled)
  • Oil (vegetable, canola, or peanut)
  • Aromatics (chopped onion, garlic, and ginger)
  • Protein (chopped chicken, beef, shrimp, or tofu)
  • Vegetables (chopped carrots, peas, and corn)
  • Soy sauce
  • Eggs (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a large wok or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the aromatics and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the protein and vegetables and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Push the ingredients to one side of the pan and crack in the eggs, if using. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked.
  5. Add the rice to the pan and stir to combine with the other ingredients.
  6. Drizzle soy sauce over the rice and stir to evenly distribute.
  7. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the rice is hot and the flavors are well combined.
  8. Serve hot.
